A special night in Westminster kicked off with our very own William Hague MP winning the Lifetime Achievement Award. The 53 year old Leader of the House of Commons was humbled to receive the prestigious award, and said that he hopes to continue contributing to political life for years to come.

The Member’s Dining Room in the House of Commons teemed with distinguished guests from many different walks of public and political life, and it continued to bustle with conversation long after all winners had received their awards.

Winners included a Member of the Romanian Parliament, Valeriu Zgonea (European Understanding Award); one of the most widely read newspapers by the Asian community, the London Evening Standard (Newspaper of the Year); a family run business, Madhu’s Sheraton Heathrow (Restaurant of the Year); and a member of the Emmerdale cast, Bhasker Patel (Actor of the Year).

It was a delightful evening and CF India was proud to celebrate the achievements of our Conservative winners and other well-deserving award recipients.
